Location was awesome. At night we could see the shard as well as the lighted towers on the tower bridge. The flat was as advertised. Remember, this is a place where someone actually lives, not a 4 or 5 star hotel room, so when it comes to linen, towels, everything was clean and good, but manage expectations. Mike was awesome, answered messages quickly whenever anything came up. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the previous guest had broken the rules of the place and had smoked . Now, let me be clear, this was not Mikes’s or the owner’s fault, however there was no quick solution for this and we did have to endure it for our week stay, mostly whenever you came back in from the outside as after a little while we would get used to it and it would not be as bad. Other positive things, supermarket literally across the street, multiple quaint restaurants right on the docks, overall a great experience and we do recommend it. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely apartment right in the centre of London
An enjoyable stay in a well equipped apartment within easy reach of all of the landmarks of London. St Katharines Dock is a great area too. Mike has been very good at letting me know what’s going on at every stage and very helpful when I arrived. I would definitely come again.

The location of this rental was excellent. Food store across the road and various restaurants very close. Not far to the underground. Carpets a bit grubby but otherwise nice and clean. Lots of room for two. This is someones home when not being used as a holiday rental.

Fantastic flat in the greatest city in the world (says native New Yorker)
First, six stars for the rental agent, who was constantly attentive and available to address any questions (we had asked for additional bath towels, and they were delivered within hours). So special thanks to Mike. I have visited London often over many years and was delighted to discover this revitalized quarter, which offers many amenities, including a fabulous view from the balcony, a Wiatrose across the street, proximity to the water taxi and the Underground (the Tower, lit up at night and in front of you as you emerge from the station, is a knockout all by itself), and the restaurants at St. Katharine's Dock. The flat itself was cozy and comfortable. The washing machine and drying cupboard were efficient so that one doesn't have bring along many changes of clothing for even a long stay (I wish I had brought only half of what I packed). The airport pick-up arranged by Mike was perfect, but a smaller suitcase makes it more feasible to travel from Heathrow/Gatwick using public transportation, which is probably quicker than by road. Future renters should be aware that while there was little street noise on the marina side, my sister, who slept in the second bedroom on the street side, said that it was noisier. The single bed in the second bedroom is too short for anyone over about 5'7" (not, unfortunately, either of us). There is also not much shelf space in the second bedroom and bathroom for one's bits and pieces, but plenty in the main bedroom. A couple with one child might find it adequate but a bit cramped. The flat is, however, perfect for two (shorter) travellers, and I look forward to my next trip.

The view is amazing!!
The flat was perfect for what we needed. We mostly used it for breakfast and sleep. It was easy to check in and out. We had an issue and the property manager came out the same day. It was also great to have a grocery right across the street. The view is very real and you can see it from both the bedroom and the living room. It was awesome to lay in bed at night and see the Tower Bridge and the Shard.

Wonderful spot near Tower Hill tube
My sister and I stayed at this flat for 5 nights in October and it was ideal! Clean, convenient, nicely decorated, everything we needed. It was probably the first time that I've stayed in a rental that actually seemed to be the home of a person, rather than a corporate unit. Good security as well - you need a code to get through the front door. Waitrose grocery store just across the street, 10 minutes walk to Tower Hill tube station or (and I highly recommend it) the pier at the Tower where you can pick up the Thames Clipper. One advisory - when you arrange for a cab (and I would guess an Uber as well), the address that the driver uses is a few doors down the street. Apparently the satellite navigation system sends them there. So keep an eye out. Mike is very attentive and helped us out when we had some difficulty with the door to the fabulous balcony. Having use of the Oyster card was a great perk which I didn't fully realize until we arrived. I highly recommend this flat - the balcony alone sealed the deal for me. We would both love to come back again soon!
