Great flat and location.

We had a nice stay during our time in London. It was close to the tube and our daughters home.

Great place!

This basement flat is ideal for a wintertime stay. It is very warm and cozy, has an extremely well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and is sparkling clean. Also very close to a range of restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. I would definitely return!

Great value and very comfortable

Richard was very accommodating about an early check in and providing a blender and french press for us. He very patiently answered all my questions prior to our arrival and responded immediately to the small issues that arose during our stay, The flat is very clean and comfy and the street is quiet at night. It is a 10-15 minute brisk walk to Earl's Court station from there. The district and Picadilly lines got us to most of the places on our sightseeing list. There are places to eat within walking distance and there's a Whole Foods in walking distance as well. In retrospect, I think West Kensington would have been a better location for us, but I'm sure we would have paid much more to stay in that area.

Very nice, comfortable flat in a good location

I wish I could have stayed a bit longer. I was quite happy with the flat. Had a good bed, nice bathroom and a well-appointed kitchen. It could use some more pictures on the walls, as there were plenty of picture hooks but nothing hanging on them. It might have been helpful to have some instructions on how to use shower, washing machine, etc., but ultimately I figured things out. The tub could also use a mat as it could be quite slippery to get into. The only real issue was that the kitchen lighting wasn't working and should be fixed before another tenant comes in. But overall I was very comfortable and would stay there again.

A well-situated and clean place with amenities.

This basement level apartment worked well for us. It was warm, with decent amenities and good wifi. We were able to walk (15 minutes) to tube stations and get buses (4 minutes) that took us everywhere in Central London we wanted to get. Do ask owner ahead about how to turn on stove/oven and use Nespresso coffee maker, even the shower. Some things weren't so intuitive. Owner could use to have some written instructions on hand as well as to let people know what's of interest nearby.

Modern basement flat in good neighborhood

We enjoyed our week in this clean, comfortable, fairly central flat that is on a quiet side street but particularly convenient to buses towards museums, theatre, Tube, and trains. (There is some usual city noise and overhead airplanes.) Behind the building are only green trees and a lovely park. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there's a small grocery store just around the corner. Rich the host is helpful and responsive. I would stay here again.

Lovely cozy apartment with attentive owner

We really enjoyed our stay. Highlights: comfortable queen size bed, safe neighborhood, little outdoor area, nice bathroom with soaking tub, and attentive owner who answered all of my questions immediately.

Great apartment in a good location!

This was my husbands and my first trip to London- we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! This is close to two tube stops, multiple markets and cafes, and a very charming cemetery! Details on the apartment - it is a basement level apartment, with lots of light and a nice back patio area. Great kitchen, washer and dryer, comfy bed and great bathroom with all the hot water you need. Richard, the owner, was available for any questions we had. We’d definitely stay there again!!
